Construction of a 6,080-square-foot metal warehouse facility that will include a 1,290-square-foot office space off Ashley Phosphate Road has begun and is expected to be done by September.
The office space will feature a reception area, several private offices, three restrooms, a conference room and a kitchenette/break area.
The warehouse, which will be 4,790 square feet, will have 18-foot clearance and 16-foot-2-inch eave heights, fluorescent lighting, three ground-level drive-in doors measuring 14-feet-by-16-feet, three-phase power, and one dock high door.
The construction site includes 2 acres of land zoned for light industrial and a large, paved parking lot. The facility also could be expanded, with potential for up to 10,080 additional square feet or 12,080 square feet.
The central location offers convenient access to Interstate 26. The facility also is just 10 minutes from the Charleston International Airport, Interstate 536 and Boeing. Once completed, the buildings will be approximately 25 minutes from the Charleston Port Terminals.
