Cloud-based benefits software solutions provider Benefitfocus Inc. has released more than 400 new software features and enhancements that will help the company provide even better services to its benefits administration clients.

One of the new features is Benefitfocus One Place 365, a web site that can give customers 24-7 access to information, videos, project management and industry insight.

“The summer software release is the second of four major releases in 2015 and part of our quarterly release cycle which drives continuous innovation with valuable insight from our customer community,” Benefitfocus President and Chief Operations Officer Ray August said. “The sophisticated suite of features rolling out today is the product of our design and engineering team’s commitment to delivering the best employee benefits software available.”

Additionally, the new upgrades will make it easier for benefits administrators to help employees who are confused by the benefit election process.

“Consumers are starting to take more ownership of their benefits choices, so having solutions that provide them with all of the information they need in one place can empower informed benefits decisions,” August said. “Making it easier for individuals to get the most out of their benefits and make the right choices for their family’s health and financial well-being is what it’s all about.”
