Four attorneys were recently elected to become partners in McNair Law Firm's Charleston, Columbia, Greenville and Hilton Head Island offices.
M. Ryan Gentry (Columbia) practices mostly in public finance law, with a concentration on compliance with federal and state securities registration and disclosure requirements. In addition to advising clients on commercial real estate and general corporate issues, he also acts as bond and disclosure counsel for municipalities, counties, school districts and other political subdivisions.
George Morrison (Charleston) acts as counsel for clients with corporate issues. He also counsels both borrowers and lenders as they navigate complex commercial legal transactions. Presently, he oversees an estate planning and probate administration practice. He also counsels clients on matters of business and taxation, and does tax structuring on real estate transactions.
Brandon Norris (Greenville) focuses his practice on public finance, economic development, and commercial and industrial real estate. He is called upon regularly to help government and business clients with a variety of transactions, including tax-exempt and tax-favored borrowing.
Bret Pruehs (Hilton Head Island) practices primarily on real estate and corporate matters. He has handled many commercial and residential real estate transactions, as well as property tax disputes. He also has experience with antitrust issues, assets and stock sales.
