Comcast Spectacor, a provider in the entertainment and sports industry, recently announced three of its divisions have merged together to operate under a single, new brand known as Spectra.
The three divisions – Ovations Food Services, Global Spectrum and Paciolan – currently service five events and venues in South Carolina: Township Auditorium (Food Services & Hospitality), Clemson University (Ticketing & Fan Engagement), Colonial Life Arena (Venue Management, Ticketing & Fan Engagement), Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center (Food Services & Hospitality), and USC Aiken Convocation Center (Venue Management, Ticketing & Fan Engagement).
“Spectra is all about creating unforgettable moments for fans,” Comcast Spectacor President Dave Scott said. “We can do that best with all services under one umbrella to provide end-to-end solutions for venues, redefining fan experiences everywhere.”
Spectra will now provide customers and clients with seamless experiences at a concert, trade show or sporting event through its full-service operations. Spectra has committed itself to providing teams, venue owners, advertisers, presenters and sponsors with innovative twists on the live experiences.
“The successes that clients like these are experiencing with multiple services at one location is what inspired us to move from a house of brands to a branded house as Spectra,” Scott said. “It gives clients a more integrated, streamlined and powerful resource to host extraordinary events.”
