Wells Fargo & Company recently announced that Elizabeth Wooten Burwell is the new business banking manager for the Wells Fargo Charleston, South Carolina, metro market.
Burwell will be responsible for acquiring, identifying and developing new relationships with the business banking segment of the company.
Burwell is a native of Charleston. She attended the University of South Carolina for her bachelor’s degree in business administration. She serves her community as the president-elect of the Junior League in Charleston. She is also an elder at the Rockville Presbyterian Church. In addition, she serves on the Charleston Rotary Club and the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Burwell has worked in the financial industry for 15 years. In 2003, she joined Wachovia, where she served as a license financial specialist based in Charleston.
Burwell previously held the position of business banking principal relationship manager, when she managed a large number of client relationships for the company.
