Rosen Hagood said on Wednesday that attorney Richard Rosen, a managing partner in the firm, has been elected to serve as the new president of the Charleston Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

Rosen has a wealth of experience as a litigation attorney. He focuses his practice on probate and business cases, as well as personal-injury litigation. Throughout his legal career, he has represented clients in securities fraud, product liability, unfair trade practices, and shareholder- and partner-dispute cases.

Rosen has sterling professional recommendations. He is included in the Best Lawyers in America for business litigation, probate litigation, personal injury and trust litigation, as well as the Martindale-Hubbell AV rating. Super Lawyers magazine repeatedly has included Rosen in its list of the top 25 lawyers in South Carolina.

The purpose of the ABOTA is to raise the standards of honor, integrity and courtesy among people involved in the legal profession. ABOTA encourages trial lawyers to receive further education and training.

“I am honored to be a member of ABOTA and to serve as the president of the Charleston Chapter,” Rosen said.
