Wells Fargo names community banking area president of Midlands market

Liza Hall has been named Wells Fargo & Company's community banking area president for the Midlands market, succeeding Kathy Heffley, who has been promoted to Community Banking Regional President for South Carolina.

“I am thrilled to welcome Liza to her new role as area president for the Midlands market,” Heffley said. “Her retail banking experience and strong commitment to both customer service and team member development and advancement will service South Carolina well and enable us to maintain our position as No. 1 in deposits and market share.”

Working from Columbia, Hall will oversee 515 retail and small business banking team members in 42 stores.

“I am excited to work with such a talented and experienced team who is committed to helping our customers exceed their financial goals,” Hall said. “I look forward to being a part of such a strong community and providing the best financial solutions and service to our customers.”

Hall, who has 18 years of banking experience, began her career in 1997 as a teller with Wachovia. She also served as teller manager, service banker and store manager before becoming the district manager for the Grand Strand market in 2011.
