Honda of South Carolina Manufacturing, Inc. along with three other companies will be honored during the 2014 Salute to Manufacturing Awards Luncheon on April 14, in conjunction with the South Carolina Manufacturing Conference and Expo.
“We are pleased to have this chance to recognize the critical importance of manufacturing to South Carolina,” Grady Johnson, group publisher of SC Biz News, said.
SC Biz News is presenting the conference along with Dixon Hughes Goodman.
The Silver Crescent Award is presented to companies that earn a stipulated score in seven areas. Winners of this award exhibit excellent performance in: citizenship, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, environmental stewardship, innovation, financial performance and longevity planning.
In addition to Honda, the companies receiving the award include: Mack Molding Co., which supplies leading plastic injection molding and contract manufacturing services to a variety of industries; Cox Industries, a manufacturer and distributor of treated outdoor wood products for the residential, commercial, industrial and utility markets; and BorgWarner, part of the TorqTransfer Systems business unit, which primarily manufactures transfer cases for 4WD and AWD pickup trucks, SUVs, and passenger cars.
The luncheon and expo will be held in Greenville, South Carolina.
