The North Eastern Strategic Alliance (NESA) recently held its 2015 legislative reception in Columbia, S.C.
The reception provided the nine-county regional economic development organization the opportunity to look back at the events of 2014, as well as to plan for the future.
Members of the organization's executive committee, board, investors, legislators across the state and county economic development officials, as well as various other officials, were present.
Yancey McGill, chairman of the NESA Executive Committee, said 2014 was filled with a number of successes regionally. He said even greater events and accomplishments can be expected in 2015.
“This organization has worked diligently to bring jobs to our region over the course of 2014,” McGill said. “I think in 2015, you’ll see that same success replicated and then some. I know that our leaders in the state legislature are doing everything in their power to help get South Carolinians back to work.”
