Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Hosts Open Pitch Night for Entrepreneurs March 19

The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce (CMCC) will hold Open Pitch Night on March 19 to bring entrepreneurs together and provide the opportunity for innovators and rising stars to share ideas.

Businesses, organizations and entrepreneurs are invited to attend the event at 4500 Leeds Ave., Suite 100 in North Charleston. The CMCC’s Catalyst Center is taking the improvisational, open-mic concept made popular in comedy clubs nationwide and turning it into a spontaneous event where entrepreneurs can share their ideas in free-form style. Anyone can pitch or fine tune their concept in an inspirational environment that is designed to give life to new ideas and help entrepreneurs gain connections.

The Open Mic sign will go on at 5:30 p.m. and the Open Pitch kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m., followed by an opportunity to meet, greet and mingle at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served and registration is required. For more information about this event, contact Jo Ann Miksa-Blackwell at 843-805-3080.

The CMCC strives to be the metro area's premier resource for economic information and is focused on helping local businesses drive growth and meet the needs of tomorrow. For more information, call 843-577-2510 or visit
