Ryan Gentry (Columbia) practices mostly in public finance law, with a concentration on compliance with federal and state securities registration and disclosure requirements.
Alice Paylor, a partner at Charleston-based law firm Rosen Hagood, recently was honored with the Platinum Compleat Lawyer Award from the University of South Carolina School of Law Alumni Council. This recognition is bestowed each year by the law school's Alumni Council to alumni who have exhibited professional competence, exemplary ethics and integrity in their field.
The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce is calling on the General Assembly to spend at least half of an expected surplus on the state’s infrastructure after a $400 million increase in revenue swelled the state’s coffers. The chamber said this additional revenue presents a chance to address some needs.
