Taylor mainly will focus on the sale and leasing of office and industrial properties. Taylor graduated from the University of South Carolina, where he received a bachelor's in political science.

Personnel from real estate company Miller-Valentine said Tuesday finished a design-build delivery of manufacturing facility upgrades at GKN Aerospace, based in Charleston, South Carolina. The improvements were for facilities in Orangeburg that are used for the Boeing 787 Floor Section 47 Program and were done in tandem with on-site assembly work.

The Jasper Ocean Terminal (JOT) Board of Directors convened last week to review projects completed during fiscal year 2015 and to approve a budget and work plan for FY 2016. The 2016 budget includes items such as conducting studies of the site design, sediment, access corridor and channel improvements that the largest container ships must have and the recruitment of a third party that is required to finish an environmental-impact study.
