Lowe Enterprises has completed the inspection period review for property on the site of the South Carolina Ports Authority offices and Fleet Landing Restaurant.
The review for the proposed purchase of 176 and 186 Concord St. was completed on Dec. 9.
In accordance with the Purchase and Sale Agreement, Lowe Enterprises has formally communicated its intention to close on the transaction to the South Carolina Ports Authority, and its escrow deposit is now nonrefundable.
Officials said Lowe Enterprises intends to close on the property in early January and looks forward to continuing its pursuit to redevelop the property into a full-service, world-class hotel that complements the surrounding neighborhood and maximizes the public’s access to the waterfront through the continuation of Waterfront Park.
