A new production facility is coming to Spartanburg County as Brose North America Inc. moves into a 77,000-square-foot space in Duncan, South Carolina.
Brose is known for integrating mechanics, electrics and electronics and will produce door systems and on-demand systems to control cooling air supply for automotive customers.
Currently, Brose is spread out through 10 office spaces at Spartanburg Community College’s Center for Business and Entrepreneurial Development (CBED). When Brose first moved into CBED, it was ideal because CBED was considered a "soft landing pad facility." Soft landing pad facilities allow companies to build their core while promoting and housing new economic development projects in the region.
It is estimated that the move will bring approximately $6 million in new capital investment. The company is currently looking for approximately 60 new employees and anyone interested in exploring open job positions is invited to browse and apply for jobs on Brose’s website.
