Two veteran agents — George Jarck and Kalyn Smythe — have joined the team at Charleston, South Carolina-based William Means Real Estate.
Bringing to the company more than 24 years of experience, Jarck previously owned his own real estate firm in Massachusetts. He has sold more than 500 homes and has experience working with both buyers and sellers and has worked with such high-profile commercial clients as General Electric, General Dynamics, Blue Cross Blue Shield and The Hartford.
Jarck also has vast experience in working with third-party relocation companies and throughout his career has logged more than $250 million in sales.
While working in Massachusetts, Jarck was consistently honored as one of the top agents in Berkshire County.
“We are delighted to have (Jarck) on the William Means team,” Helen Geer, the company’s broker-in-charge, said.
Smythe is a Lowcountry native. She worked as a property manager in Downtown Charleston before changing her career focus to real estate sales. Within the first two years she had sold more than 50 properties and had been named a Realtor of Distinction.
Smythe and her husband Thomas recently bought their first home together in Mount Pleasant.
“Kalyn not only loves working with properties in our community, but she also has a real passion for building relationships and is truly committed to helping her clients through the negotiation process,” Geer said. “And that’s exactly the kind of person we look for at William Means.”
