Lynn Chandler, a nine-year partner at South Carolina law firm Smith Moore Leatherwood, recently moved her practice to the company's office at 25 Calhoun St., Suite 250, Charleston, South Carolina.

Chandler was recognized as a Best Lawyer in America (Woodward/White Inc.) for Trusts and Estates every year from 2013-16. For four years running, 2012-15, she made the list of North Carolina Super Lawyers, and was also included in the list of North Carolina Legal Elite in 2009 and 2011.
Chandler graduated with honors with a law degree from Creighton University School of Law. She also holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska and did her undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Chandler's specialty areas are tax and wealth management, which includes such complex issues as federal, state and local tax planning as well as tax controversy, mergers, acquisitions, restructuring of business entities, business succession and estate and gift tax planning.
