The American Marketing Association chapter in Charleston, South Carolina, has chosen its board of directors for 2015-16.
The president is Andrew Barton, owner of Andrew Barton Design. Holly Fisher, the owner of HAF Creative, is the immediate past president. Erin Danly, the owner of Lowcountry Copywriter, is the president-elect.
The secretary is Whittney Prasek, the marketing director at Holy City Hospitality. The new treasurer is Ellen Patterson, the regional marketing coordinator with Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP. Kelly Jones is the new director of programming, as she has experience as the marketing communications coordinator at the South Carolina Aquarium. Ted deLoach, who is a marketing consultant with Crowson Stone will be the director of sponsorship, and Kimberly McCollum, associate director of public relations with The Brandon Agency, is the new director of community outreach.
The new director of marketing and communications is the marketing associate at Advantage Media Group, Katie Biondo. Don Oswalt, a sales executive with Nelson Printing, is the new membership director. Michael Varnadore, the CEO and founder of Pink Flaming Group, is the new director of special events.
The Charleston American Marketing Association improves and supports the needs for business owners and marketers at different levels within the community. They also offer access to essential business contacts and information, which builds businesses and improves careers.
